Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Plant Manager for its Lowell, IN manufacturing facility. The role leads a high-complexity operation, driving safety, throughput, and continuous improvement across shifts while ensuring quality and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing the site strategy, managing CapEx, and delivering on ISO 9000 quality and VOC-driven improvements. The position requires 8+ years in manufacturing leadership and a strong Lean/Six Sigma background.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive operational leadership experience in fast-paced manufacturing plants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical equivalent with Process Safety Management (PSM) experience.
• Lean Sigma mastery with kaizen events and continuous improvement.
• Deep familiarity with ISO 9000 quality systems and VOC integration.
• Proven floor-first servant leadership and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture on the shop floor and mentor operators.
• Scale throughput and own P&L for the plant and supply chain coordination.
• Embed Lean Sigma principles to reduce waste and maximize yield.
• Enforce ISO 9000 quality standards and fast turnaround on VOC feedback.
• Formulate site strategy, CapEx planning, and long-term goals.
