Job summary

Ash Grove Cement in the United States seeks a Production Superintendent to organize and schedule activities of production crews, ensuring clinker and cement meet quality specifications and production goals. You will coordinate with maintenance, shipping, quarry and lab teams to align schedules and optimize throughput.

This role supervises a mid-sized team, enforces safety guidelines, handles staffing, training, and performance evaluations, and drives continuous improvement while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 Year/Bachelors Degree in science, math, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar production positions at a cement plant.
• Ability to lead/manage others; organize and prioritize work.
• Knowledge of kiln and mill operations and production process control.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Directs production team and manages plant operations to meet goals.
• Monitors quality control and adjust as needed.
• Coordinates with maintenance, shipping, quarry, and engineering.
• Inspects equipment and reports faults; write work orders.
• Maintains daily time sheets and records of overtime.
