Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or Industrial Management.
• 10+ years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods, production planning, employee/labor relations, and standard cost and financial controls.
• Ability to communicate, motivate, and lead at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Directs manufacture and assembly of products at optimum costs with quality and performance standards.
• Meets scheduled delivery dates with minimal WIP and optimal use of people, machinery, and materials.
• Develops cost, scrap, rework, and extra work reduction programs to improve EBIT.
• Controls quality, production costs, inventory, shipping and receiving via subordinates.
• Determines plant policies and applies them to manufacturing operations.
• Coordinates manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
• Ensures availability of raw materials and supplies for efficiency.
• Communicates methods and production standards with staff.
• Reviews and approves equipment and capital investments.
• Oversees maintenance and plant security.
• Participates in personnel policies and labor relations.
