Broad knowledge of manufacturing methods, production planning, labor relations, and standard cost controls.
Strong ability to assess, develop and lead personnel.

Responsibilities

Directs manufacture and assembly at optimum costs with quality and performance.
Manages on-time delivery with minimal WIP and optimal utilization of resources.
Implements cost reduction programs to improve EBIT.
Controls quality, cost of production, inventory, shipping, and receiving.
Sets plant policies aligned with corporate guidelines and applies them on the floor.
Coordinates schedules based on sales needs and plant capacity.
Ensures availability of raw materials and supplies for efficiency.
Communicates directives to shop floor and drives safety and compliance.
