Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a team of entry-level production staff and oversee daily production activities. The role ensures on-time customer demand fulfillment, safe operations, and adherence to 5S/Lean initiatives to optimize costs.

The candidate will drive reliability, training, and continuous improvement while coordinating routes, scheduling, and inventory to support efficient plant performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required in this role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial plant environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in Driver, operations, distribution or quality roles.
  • At least three years of experience leading and developing employees.
  • Willingness to work in a unionized Environment is required.

  • Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to meet customer demand.
  • Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling.
  • Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet governmental and environmental regulations; ensure employees are trained and committed to Linde Safety and Quality systems.
  • Monitor production performance and manpower levels to maintain efficiency, anticipate problems, and develop contingencies.
  • Identify operational challenges and lead improvement efforts related to production processes, shift scheduling, and training; report progress to plant management.

Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000 yearly, based on experience.
