Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a capable Production Leader to guide a team of entry-level production employees in meeting customer demand across our Massachusetts operations. You will coordinate daily production activities, distribution needs, and local delivery routes while driving reliability, safety, quality, and compliance initiatives and training in alignment with Linde Safety and Quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in an industrial plant environment.
• 5+ years in Driver, operations, distribution or quality roles.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees.
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to ensure customer demand is consistently met.
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling.
• Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet governmental and environmental regulations; ensure training and adherence to Linde Safety and Quality systems.
• Monitor production performance and manpower levels to maintain efficiency, anticipate problems, and develop contingencies.
• Identify operational challenges and lead improvement efforts related to production processes, shift scheduling, and training; report progress and findings to plant management.
• Manage and escalate equipment and product quality issues, maintain inventory of production supplies, and support 5S and Lean projects and hazardous waste activities to reduce operating costs via Operational Excellence strategies.
