Job summary

Linde Inc. in Texas City, TX, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs while managing budgets and serving as the primary contact for customers and partners.

You will drive productivity, plant reliability, and cost savings, while developing employees and ensuring strict adherence to OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and related regulations to protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in an industrial plant environment (production, distribution, safety, and/or maintenance).
• Five years of direct people management with demonstrated results.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) standards and EPA/PSM-regulated facilities.

• You will lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs; ensure employees are fully trained in, committed to, and conduct their activities in accordance with all aspects of Linde policies and procedures; ensure required government and environmental regulations are met; and manage operational and capital budgets while serving as the primary point of contact for customers and joint venture partners
• Manage and elevate, as required, equipment, product quality, and delivery issues
• Monitor production and manpower levels to ensure continued efficiency while anticipating problems and developing contingency plans

• Maximize plant reliability to avoid unscheduled shutdowns resulting in interruptions to customer supply
• Drive improvements in productivity and cost savings

• Effectively work within the matrix organization to enlist assistance from support groups
• Adhere to all corporate and plant policies, including OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and TCEQ air, water, and waste regulations.
