Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support preventive and reactive maintenance for our manufacturing plant in Illinois. The role requires hands-on mechanical, electrical, and drive system expertise to maximize production uptime.

The candidate will perform PMs, repairs, and parts management, working with Production staff to ensure safe operation. On-call duties and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational diploma required.
• Technician level electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic preferred.
• Basic PLC and drive training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls (extruders, corrugators, drives).
• Build skills through company training programs.
• Order parts and control components as needed.
• Contribute to CMMS performance with PM and repairs.
• First responder to machine problems and escalate as needed.
• Ensure safe, reliable plant operation with production staff.
• Assist Continuous Improvement projects to boost efficiency and safety.
• Support daily management directives.
