Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Owosso, MI facility.

The role focuses on preventive and reactive maintenance to maximize production, with responsibilities including troubleshooting machines, repairing controls, and supporting CMMS records. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical, pneumatic, and PLC skills, knowledge of NEC/UL508A/NFPA 79, and experience with high-volume manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational diploma required; technician level preferred in electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Basic PLC and drive training preferred.
• Experience with industrial maintenance and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and NFPA 79 codes and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and controls (extruders, corrugators, drives).
• Maintain PM schedules and repair work orders to maximize production.
• Order replacement parts and control components as needed.
• Contribute to CMMS performance and safety initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency.
