Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years’ experience in Maintenance or related engineering in Power Plant or similar industrial process.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Strong technical background in industrial equipment and systems.
• Ability to manage several projects at once.
• Understanding of maintenance management processes.
• Able to communicate with supervisors and peers.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Supervises a team of Operations and Maintenance Technicians in maintenance tasks.
• Maintains a safe work environment and conducts pre-job safety briefs.
• Ensures team time in control room and simulator for operations.
• Prioritizes environmental compliance and permits in maintenance activities.
• Develops repair strategies and maintenance schedules with leadership.
• Assigns scheduled and emergency maintenance; scopes resources.
• Administers the Employee Code of Conduct and union contract.
• Performs semi-annual employee performance reviews.
• Prepares budget requests for equipment and capital projects.
• Tracks department expenses and forecasts monthly.
• Assumes standby duties and responds to emergencies.
• Trains staff in tools, procedures, and safe practices.
• Supports operating departments in monitoring equipment and troubleshooting.
