Job summary

Nationwide Technical Search seeks an experienced Maintenance Leader to oversee plant maintenance and engineering functions, ensuring preventive maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and production capacity within budget and OSHA standards.

The role leads daily activities, coordinates safety programs, and drives TPM initiatives while collaborating with Planning, Production, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of maintenance leadership in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• CMRP certification is highly desired.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; CMMS/TPM/Lean knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operational & Safety Leadership: Direct daily maintenance activities, support safety training programs (LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space), conduct incident investigations, and manage shift coverage and labor efficiency.
• Work Scheduling & Execution: Review and execute daily/weekly work schedules; audit job quality; obtain blueprints and schematics; utilize CMMS to manage work orders and track actual vs. estimated labor and materials.
• Preventative Maintenance & Continuous Improvement: Partner with planning teams to optimize PM inspection tasks and frequencies; utilize MTBF to reduce breakdowns; champion TPM and Autonomous Maintenance.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary contact between Maintenance and Production Supervision to coordinate equipment repairs, process upgrades, and operational improvements.
• Work Demands: 1st shift schedule (5:30 AM - 3:30 PM) with flexibility for alternate shifts or weekends based on production; ability to continuously stand, walk, and work in hot or cold environments.
