The position emphasizes safety leadership, development of KPIs, and the evolution from reactive to proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in plant maintenance and engineering.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong desire to drive company philosophy, goals, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of equipment capabilities.
• Experience with Roll forming, stamping or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to delegate and promote team growth.
• Ability to coordinate work activities and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment; follow safety SOPs and wear PPE.
• Provide safety leadership and drive a safety culture and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and state safety regulations.
• Plan, direct and lead daily maintenance and T&D activities.
• Generate work orders, track progress and follow-up as needed.
• Collaborate with production to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives and establish maintenance KPIs.
• Manage maintenance budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and execute TPM and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure production equipment meets specifications and tolerances; consult on modifications.
• Coordinate installation of major equipment and provide technical leadership for maintenance evolution.
• Communicate with department personnel to ensure effective two-way communication on maintenance issues.
