Job summary

Flowers Foods is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL to oversee hourly maintenance staff, uphold safety and quality, and help lead continuous improvement across the plant floor.

You will manage shift activities, use SAP for PM work and parts tracking, and mentor technicians and apprentices while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated knowledge in industrial electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, motor control, and equipment repair and installation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is desired; High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the floor on shift and manage hourly maintenance staff.
• Schedule, prep next shifts and conduct shift handoffs.
• Review parts requests and manage checked-out parts.
• Use SAP to review work requests, PM orders, and update breakdown notices.
• Execute small-scale maintenance projects.
• Maintain shift reporting and next day planning.
• Conduct employee reviews and coach technicians.
• Train and coach technicians and apprentices.
• Conduct critical process inspections and PM verification.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem-solving and time management.
• Follow all company policies (EEO, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley).
• Perform other duties as assigned, including attendance.
• Possess or attain licenses to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment.
