Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to manage hourly maintenance staff, ensure plant safety and food quality standards, and drive preventive maintenance programs.

You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate shift handoffs, and review parts and work orders using SAP. The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience and a strong background in electrical wiring, PLCs, motor control, and equipment repair.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated knowledge in industrial electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, motor control, and equipment repair and installation.
• Experience using SAP for work order management and PMs is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the floor on shift: schedule and manage hourly workers, execute preventive maintenance, and manage line calls.
• Communicate shift handoffs and prep with adjacent shifts.
• Review parts requests and manage parts checked out on shift.
• Use SAP to review work requests, PM orders, and update breakdown notifications.
• Execute small scale maintenance projects and verify PM work.
• Lead shift reporting and next day planning; conduct employee reviews.
• Train and coach technicians and apprentices; ensure safety and compliance.
