Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Wapato, WA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee production facilities, material handling, and wastewater systems, ensuring maximum plant uptime and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, and safe tool usage; experience in a juice processing environment preferred; ability to operate forklifts and lead a team across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or mechanical certification preferred; High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year experience in a juice processing environment preferred.
• Ability to use stick welder, wire welder, TIG, plasma torch, and oxy-acetylene torch.
• Ability to recognize stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum.
• Able to work any shift, overtime and any/all days of the week per plant needs.

Responsibilities

• Role in Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance.
• Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for training mechanics in the Food Safety program and SQF guidelines.
• Enforce HACCP and GMP requirements.
• Create a culture focused on producing Safe, Quality Food.
• Develop and maintain a maintenance prevention program to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Maintain supplier control index to ensure high quality vendors.
• Meet with vendors to discuss and resolve mechanical problems.
• Represent Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc during vendor meetings.
• Remain current with government rules, procedures and chemical regulations.
• Perform and document Repair Work Orders and PMs as scheduled.
• Perform and document removal, installation, and repair of production and related equipment.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Perform non-routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
