Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Selah, WA to lead the maintenance team and oversee all equipment, utilities and facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and production efficiency. The role reports to the Plant Manager and supports SQF, HACCP, and GMP programs.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, capital project coordination, and collaboration with Operations to optimize performance and asset reliability in a food processing environment.

Qualifications

• WA State trade certification required.
• 5+ years’ experience in maintenance management in the food/beverage industry.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary tech diploma/degree preferred.
• Experience with safety programs (SQF/HACCP/GMP) and continuous improvement.
• Ability to supervise, plan and coordinate maintenance work and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team to ensure safety, quality, availability and production efficiency.
• Administer preventive maintenance and repair activities across plant equipment and facilities.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and spend with monthly/annual tracking.
• Coordinate capital projects planning with Engineering and Operations.
• Oversee contractor management and ensure compliance with standards.
