Job summary

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP in Hopewell, VA is seeking a Daily Maintenance Leader to oversee the site maintenance workflow, drive safety-focused planning, and coordinate with Operations and Reliability teams. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and play a pivotal role in plant reliability and cost control.

The role requires 5–10 years in manufacturing and a proven ability to lead unionized maintenance teams, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in manufacturing supporting Maintenance/Operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams in a union environment.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and reliability programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the site daily maintenance work flow process (Identify the need, approval, prioritization, scoping, planning, scheduling, execution, close out, and learning).
• Lead cross-functional prioritization of maintenance work with Operations, Reliability, and Maintenance teams.
• Set and reinforce safe work planning, permitting, LOTO and high-hazard controls.
