Ashland Specialty Ingredients, GP in Hopewell, VA is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for daily maintenance activities, safety, and compliance. The role reports to the Maintenance/Reliability Manager and focuses on preventing downtime and maximizing productivity.

The candidate should have strong leadership, technical competency in E&I, and experience coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance in a chemical/industrial

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing environments.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance planning tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of E&I craftsman to advance overall team capabilities.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Act as day planner for break ins and first point of contact for issues.
• Maintenance Operations Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical group.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to minimize production interruptions.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Facilitate vacations, overtime, tool allowances, and staffing items for direct reports.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
