Job summary

Allied Reliability is seeking a Plant Maintenance Leader in Council Bluffs, IA. You will lead the maintenance team responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment, facilities, and infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations.

You will build a high-performing, safety-focused maintenance organization by coaching staff, establishing accountability, and driving continuous improvement across the department. Strong project management and SAP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
Seven+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience overseeing production maintenance, machine shop operations, industrial construction, and facilities administration.
Experience managing maintenance teams and achieving results through others.
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers and logic control systems supporting high-speed manufacturing equipment.
Strong project management experience leading large and complex capital projects.
Understanding of electrical/electronic principles and industrial maintenance systems.
Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead all plant maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and plant efficiency.
Develop and execute maintenance strategies to extend asset life.
Schedule and prioritize repair and installation activities to support production.
Champion a culture of safety across maintenance programs.
Establish, monitor, and improve maintenance department metrics.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the Planned Maintenance Pillar.
Manage budgets for maintenance, storeroom, and operations.
Support capital planning with cost estimates and prioritization.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
Direct building operations including renovations and improvements.
Set quality standards and expectations for employees, contractors, and providers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance and reliability.
Review data to identify trends and optimize maintenance activities.
Evaluate facility and equipment conditions and propose improvements.
