Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with engineering and other departments, and manage a maintenance budget while developing and mentoring shift personnel.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent maintenance experience, 5+ years in supervision, and strong communication skills. Expect travel up to 25% and a focus on cost reduction and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or related maintenance experience required.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a maintenance supervisory/manager role in manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and cost-control skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant maintenance and coordinate activities with other departments.
• Enforce safety, quality, GMP policies and company procedures.
• Lead meetings and training; drive manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Work with Engineering on equipment improvements to boost performance.
• Diagnose breakdowns and implement root-cause solutions to prevent recurrences.
• Manage maintenance budget and optimize spending.
• Develop and train shift personnel to meet department goals.
• Coordinate with vendors and plant visitors.
• Possibly lead special projects in other areas.
