Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a reliability-focused team at Wakefield plant. This role directs maintenance and project activities, coordinating with ARM and plant staff to sustain asset health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include supervising contractors, managing budget inputs, and driving continuous improvement through RCA/RCM while ensuring GMP and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred; leadership aptitude.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
• CMRP certification preferred; SAP experience beneficial.
• Understanding of PLC and equipment automation preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and KPI tracking.
• Able to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team, ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Oversee contractors while onsite, ensuring safety, food safety, and GMP compliance.
• Balance maintenance initiatives with plant business strategies during shifts.
• Assist with budgeting and capital project planning.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance reporting and decision making.
• Maintain accurate records (SAP data, KPI tracking).
• Coordinate with planning to optimize team utilization and scheduling.
• Support RCA/RCM to improve asset reliability and plant performance.
