Job summary

Michael Foods Wakefield facility seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a reliability and maintenance team. This role ensures equipment and facilities stay in top condition, champions safety, and collaborates with ARM and plant teams for asset health improvements.

Responsibilities include supervising contractors, managing maintenance metrics, budgeting input, and driving RCA/RCM processes. Strong leadership, GMP knowledge, and SAP/CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
Understanding of PLC and equipment automation preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise maintenance team to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Supervise maintenance or project contractors while onsite ensuring food safety and GMP requirements.
Balance maintenance initiatives with plant business strategies during shifts.
Assist with planning and cost estimates for budgets and capital projects.
Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance reporting and decision making.
Maintain accurate records (SAP data, Kronos, KPI's).
Coordinate with planning to use team personnel cost-effectively.
Promote MFI culture and standards; ensure safety is a core value.
