Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead reliability initiatives, supervise the maintenance staff, and drive asset health across the plant.

You will collaborate with the MFI ARM and operations teams to ensure safety, GMP compliance, and consistent maintenance execution. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor oversight to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations.
• CMRP certification preferred.
• Understanding of PLC and equipment automation preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise department team members to ensure personal safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
• Supervise maintenance contractors while onsite ensuring safety, food safety, and GMP compliance.
• Balance maintenance initiatives to align with plant business strategies during shifts.
• Plan and assist with annual and long-term capital and operating budgets.
• Utilize SAP and CMMS to manage maintenance reporting and decisions.
• Support RCA and RCM processes to improve asset reliability.
