Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a Manufacturing IT/OT Support Specialist to provide onsite technology support in a manufacturing and production environment. You will troubleshoot plant-floor systems, manufacturing applications, infrastructure, workstations, and network-connected equipment while collaborating with plant operations, engineering, and centralized IT teams to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

Experience providing IT support in manufacturing or production-critical environments.
Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks.
Ability to collaborate with operations, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT/OT support for manufacturing and plant-floor technology.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
Support manufacturing applications, production systems, and plant-floor technology.
Monitor production-critical systems and respond to incidents impacting operations.
Deploy and maintain workstations, applications, infrastructure, and manufacturing technology.
Coordinate with engineering, networking, infrastructure, application, and other IT teams to resolve issues.
Support plant launches, technology refreshes, equipment deployments, and other manufacturing IT/OT projects.
Assist with process-equipment commissioning and manufacturing application integration.
Maintain technical documentation, system information, and support procedures.
Identify recurring issues and recommend opportunities for process and technology improvements.
Provide clear communication to operations, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Participate in off-hours, weekend, shutdown, or launch activities when required.
