Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT/OT support for manufacturing and plant-floor technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
• Support manufacturing applications, production systems, and plant-floor technology.
• Monitor production-critical systems and respond to incidents impacting operations.
• Deploy and maintain workstations, applications, infrastructure, and manufacturing technology.
• Coordinate with engineering, networking, infrastructure, application, and other IT teams to resolve issues.
• Support plant launches, technology refreshes, equipment deployments, and other manufacturing IT/OT projects.
• Assist with process-equipment commissioning and manufacturing application integration.
• Maintain technical documentation, system information, and support procedures.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend opportunities for process and technology improvements.
• Provide clear communication to operations, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in off-hours, weekend, shutdown, or launch activities when required.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing IT/OT Support Specialist to provide onsite technology support within a manufacturing and production environment. This role sits at the intersection of IT and Operational Technology (OT), supporting plant-floor systems, manufacturing applications, infrastructure, workstations, network-connected equipment, and production-critical technology.

The ideal candidate understands how technology impacts manufacturing operations and can work closely with plant operations, engineering, business stakeholders, and centralized IT teams to troubleshoot issues, support production systems, implement changes, and contribute to plant projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT/OT support for manufacturing and plant-floor technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
• Support manufacturing applications, production systems, and plant-floor technology.

Manufacturing / OT Technologies

• PFCS, PFS/PFSe, UPS
• Allen-Bradley PLC5 and ControlLogix
• Industrial barcode scanners
• Manufacturing application integration
• Process equipment commissioning
• Plant-floor and production systems
• Manufacturing execution and industrial systems

Required Qualifications

• Experience providing IT support within a manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or production-critical environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, applications, and infrastructure.
• Experience supporting desktops, servers, printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
• Ability to work directly with operations, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple technical teams.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.
• Understanding of the impact that technology issues can have on production and plant operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Manufacturing IT, Plant IT, Operational Technology (OT), Manufacturing Systems, or Industrial IT.
• Experience supporting MES, production, supply chain, warehouse, or industrial applications.
• Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Server, workstation, and network troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting 24x7 manufacturing environments.
• Experience participating in technology implementations, plant launches, refreshes, or infrastructure projects.

This is an onsite manufacturing IT/OT position requiring frequent interaction with plant operations, engineering, and other business stakeholders. The role may require occasional off-hours, weekend, shutdown, or plant-launch support.
