Job summary

Pastaio USA Inc. is seeking a hands-on Plant IT Specialist to support day-to-day manufacturing IT operations in our U.S. facility.

The role focuses on ensuring smooth production systems, assisting end users, and quickly resolving IT issues on the shop floor. The successful candidate will manage Windows/macOS endpoints, support ERP/MES systems, and contribute to cybersecurity, backup practices, and digital transformation initiatives within the plant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Support production users and office staff with daily IT needs.
• Manage and monitor Windows/macOS endpoints and mobile device configurations.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services and collaboration tools.
• Support and maintain ERP and MES systems, coordinating updates and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure the proper functioning of traceability systems and shop-floor applications.
• Support production equipment connected to IT systems, including printers, barcode scanners, and label printers.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and business applications.
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange, and identity management tools.
• Collaborate on cybersecurity initiatives and vulnerability mitigation activities.
• Ensure business continuity through backup procedures and disaster recovery practices.
• Document IT procedures, system configurations, and operational guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives within the plant.
