Job summary

UNACEM North America at the Paulden, AZ plant is seeking an HR representative to provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees and leadership, ensuring consistent execution of people processes to sustain culture, safety, performance and engagement.

This role partners with Operations, EHS and corporate HR to address workforce needs, conduct investigations, guide managers on employee relations, and maintain accurate HRIS data and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Human Resources experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, and HR operations.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety culture and workforce documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all plant employees and supervisors.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, onboarding, and training coordination.
• Guide supervisors on employee relations, discipline, performance, and conflicts.
• Manage investigations and address workplace concerns with fairness.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal controls, and policies.
• Deploy HR processes, including performance reviews, engagement initiatives, and development actions.
• Partner with Operations, EHS, and corporate HR to support safety and engagement culture.
• Maintain accurate HR documentation and HRIS data.
• Identify workforce risks and escalate appropriately.
• Support cultural and engagement activities, including Great Place to Work efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.
