Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support hourly payroll and benefits at our Indiana plant. You will manage timekeeping, oversee Kronos, and serve as a HR/Payroll liaison, handling inquiries and data in a confidential manner.

The role includes updating Employee Central, assisting with staffing and onboarding for hourly and salary staff, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Leadership training completed or in progress.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years in service-oriented role with high human interaction.
• Clerical/office experience and handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll timekeeping and payroll processing using Kronos.
• Maintain time clocks at plants; address payroll issues.
• Coordinate payroll changes (tax changes, direct deposit, deductions).
• Act as Payroll Shared Services liaison for tickets and escalation.
• Update Employee Central and run standard/non-routine reports.
