Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an HR Lead at the Vandalia, OH plant to provide strategic HR and business leadership, advise plant leadership on all human capital matters, and drive safety, engagement, and organizational change.

You will manage payroll, HRIS, labor analytics, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement, partner with site leaders to foster an inclusive culture, coach managers, and develop talent while aligning with broader company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field.
• 3 years of HR experience
• 3 years of labor relations experience in a Union environment is required
• Previous experience working in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives to achieve zero recordable injuries and reinforce safety standards.
• Guide and sustain organizational changes to align with the broader business landscape.
• Partner with plant leadership to foster an inclusive culture and drive engagement.
• Administer payroll, labor analytics, HRIS, and employee records.
• Support talent management, recruitment, and retention of salaried and primary talent.
• Develop training and development within the facility using TPM methodologies.
