Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to manage timekeeping, payroll processing, and benefits-related inquiries for the hourly workforce at the Indiana plant. This HR-backed role will act as a liaison with Payroll Shared Services and support Talent Center data management.

The ideal candidate will have strong Kronos experience, two or more years in a service-oriented environment, and solid data handling skills. On-site position with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Leadership training and ability to learn responsibilities.
• 2+ years in a service-oriented role with high human interaction; clerical/office experience; handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timekeeping and payroll processes for hourly workforce.
• Administer Kronos and respond to payroll issues.
• Manage employee data and run routine reports in Talent Center/Employee Central.
• Coordinate pre-placement activities including drug screens and medical questionnaires.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for hourly and salary employees.
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
