Job summary

Modine is seeking a Plant Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations at the Franklin, WI facility, directing a dedicated HR team within a manufacturing setting. The role partners with the Plant Manager and HR Director to drive workforce planning, talent initiatives, compliance, and employee engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience managing HR teams and supporting both salaried and hourly employees.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems and ability to interpret and analyze HR data.
• Proven ability to handle employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR advisor to the Plant Manager and leadership team, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
• Lead and develop the plant HR team to ensure effective HR service delivery to all employees.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and best practices are consistently applied across the facility.
• Oversee staffing strategies to meet plant production needs and build partnerships with local schools and programs to create a robust talent pipeline.
• Develop and implement an apprenticeship program to attract and train future talent for key roles.
