Job summary

McKinley Paper and Packaging Company seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead human resources for a fast-paced corrugating and converting operation. You will partner with plant leadership to manage attendance, staffing, ER, and policy compliance on the factory floor.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, strong relations skills, and a hands-on approach to workforce solutions affecting production and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience supporting an hourly workforce and employee relations investigations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, FMLA, ADA, workers' comp, and leave Admin.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR leader for the manufacturing facility and plant floor.
• Advise leaders on performance, attendance, conduct, staffing, and policy application.
• Lead workforce planning, staffing, and recruitment for hourly and salaried roles.
• Administer attendance policies, performance management, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with laws, audits, and HR records management.
• Partner with safety, operations, and maintenance to align HR initiatives with production needs.
