Job summary

Conagra Brands’ Indianapolis manufacturing facility seeks an experienced HR professional who will partner with plant leadership to drive recruitment, employee relations, training and the seamless delivery of HR programs.

You will coach leaders on HR policy, coordinate benefits and compensation activities, manage projects, and analyze data to support business decisions in a fast-paced, union-influenced environment. Bachelor’s degree in HR and 3+ years of HR experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• Professional HR Certification or advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of professional HR experience.
• Experience with ERISA, EEOC and DOL regulations.
• Experience with benefits and compensation administration, market pricing, labor law, and organizational development.
• Experience managing projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication with conflict management and mediation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with HRIS such as Workday or PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR partnership and consultation for assigned functional teams.
• Coach and advise leaders on effective administration of HR programs and employee-related matters.
• Support implementation of employee relations policies and practices with professional guidance to leadership.
• Lead coordination and administration of HR programs including EEO, unemployment, litigation support, retention, turnover, terminations, and severance.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams to support business needs.
• Assist with programs and policies promoting diversity, inclusion, and compliance with EEO and affirmative action requirements.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and leaders to support recruitment, succession planning, and talent needs.
• Design and execute reporting and data analysis to identify trends and support business decisions.
