Job summary

The Wilmington Group in Louisville, KY is seeking a General Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive financial success across Safety, Staffing, Production, and Maintenance.

You will oversee the Operations, Logistics, and Sales teams, reporting to the VP, Plant Operations. Some weekend/evening work and travel up to 10% may be required.

The role requires 7+ years in plant operations with strong leadership and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with progressive high-level training in recycling and/or manufacturing industries.
• 7+ years’ experience leading plant operations or recycling/industrial manufacturing operations.
• Leadership/supervisory experience a must.
• Previous experience in the recycling industry preferred.
• Advanced understanding of Safety/OSHA regulation and programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and financial performance including Safety, Staffing, Production, Environmental, Maintenance, Quality, Growth, Asset Management and Inventory.
