Job summary

The Wilmington Group is hiring a full-time Operations Manager for our High Point, NC facility. You will oversee safety, maintenance, quality, and production planning, directing first line supervisors and labor staff to meet site goals.

Weekend/evening work may be required, with travel up to 10% as needed to ensure objectives are achieved. You will manage the plant budget, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety as a core value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years of operations leadership or supervisory experience.
• Maintenance and mechanical aptitude; OSHA training preferred.
• Industry experience in recycling/manufacturing and continuous improvement desirable.
• Strong safety knowledge and regulatory understanding (OSHA, EPA).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and plant operations tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and enforce protocols across the plant.
• Develop daily production plans to maximize efficiency.
• Manage maintenance, labor, and overtime to meet budgets.
• Oversee operations, inventory, and asset performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with licenses, permits, and safety programs.
• Collaborate with HR to address employee information and concerns.
