Job summary

Energizer Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Plant Controller in Asheboro, NC to join the Manufacturing Leadership and Operations Finance and Controllership teams. You will support local manufacturing and controllership, analyze U.S. financial statements in GAAP, and act as an SAP expert.

The role requires 6–8 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing setting, strong knowledge of US GAAP, and proficiency with SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 6–8 years of related accounting experience.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Understanding of US GAAP and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of standard product costs and SOX controls.
• ERP experience, SAP preferred; strong Excel/Office skills.
• Advanced degree or CPA/MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support internal partners and management with data analytics and insights.
• Prepare monthly closing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead budget development and quarterly forecasting for the location.
• Drive continuous improvement within F&C and document new processes.
• Oversee capital budgets, CARs, and cost tracking for value streams.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Operations to align financial goals.
