Job summary

The Energizer Holdings, Inc. Plant Controller will support the Manufacturing Leadership and Operations Controllership team by analyzing US financial statements and ensuring GAAP compliance.

The role includes SAP user expertise, monthly closing, budgeting, and variance analysis for the Asheboro, NC facility. Responsibilities span journal entries, balance sheet reviews, annual budget development, forecasts, and collaboration with Manufacturing Operations to align financial and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 6–8 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial industry.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge; variance analysis.
• ERP experience with SAP preferred.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly closing journal entries.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and analyses.
• Lead annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
• Support internal/external audits and reporting.
• Partner with Manufacturing Operations on analytics and goals.
• Manage capital budgets and CAR tracking.
