Job summary

Talentify seeks an experienced Plant Controller in Gastonia, NC to oversee the finance operations of a $100M manufacturing plant. This onsite role reports to the plant leadership and focuses on profitability, efficiency, and strong financial controls.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in manufacturing accounting, costing, and financial analysis, with proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel, and thrives in a fast-paced matrix environment. No visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing finance.
Experience in a fast-paced, matrix organizational structure.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end and year-end close, journal entries, P&L analysis and variance reporting in SAP.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the plant.
Manage product costing, cost center planning, internal orders, and tariffs in SAP.
Monitor inventory, headcount reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Develop internal control systems to minimize financial risk.
Collaborate with regional plants on project Controlling and business cases.
