Job summary

Dreyers Grand Ice Cream, Inc is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee daily operations, maintenance, sanitation and safety across the plant. You will lead facility personnel and coordinate with contractors to maintain a compliant, efficient production environment in our California facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, waste management and continuous improvement, with exposure to multiple departments from operations to supply chain.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities, maintenance or operations supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or consumer packaged goods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily facility operations, including building systems, utilities, grounds, and common areas.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with internal teams and external contractors.
• Maintain waste management records and ensure compliance with environmental and GMP standards.
• Oversee vendor and service-provider relationships and manage contractor performance.
• Promote safety and conduct regular facility safety inspections and corrective actions.
