Job summary

Roper Pump Company LLC seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the facility's maintenance and reliability program. You will oversee maintenance of mills, lathes, grinders, and test stands, drive uptime, and supervise a team responsible for waste water, janitorial, and grounds care.

The role includes ensuring regulatory compliance with emissions, hazardous waste, and storm water rules, and coordinating capital projects and equipment moves.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 3 years plant maintenance experience, or 5 years of management experience.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• Able to read pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and electrical drawings.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Implement / manage maintenance programs for equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, hones, hobbing machines, and test stands.
• Maximize equipment uptime and efficiency thru preventative maintenance.
• Manage team handling wastewater discharge, janitorial services, and building & grounds maintenance.
• Oversee regulatory compliance with emissions, hazardous waste, and storm water requirements.
• Manage 3rd party vendors as needed.
• System administrator for plant maintenance software.
• Facilitate capital spending projects and equipment moves/installation.
• Other duties as assigned.
