Job summary

Roper Pump Company LLC seeks a Production and Material Planning Manager to lead the creation and release of shop and build orders, ensuring schedules reflect demand, material availability, and company objectives.

The role partners with Engineering, Purchasing, and Production leadership to optimize routing, resolve bottlenecks, and provide accurate lead times and recovery schedules for customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in production planning, procurement, or supply chain management (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the creation and release of shop orders and build orders, prioritizing by demand, materials, and company goals.
• Develop accurate production and assembly schedules balancing customer priorities and component availability.
• Audit and validate planning processes for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure routing accuracy and timely updates to shop orders.
• Work with Purchasing to identify material shortages and communicate risks to management.
