Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking an EHS Specialist to promote an Incident and Injury Free culture and ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance across BA facilities.

Under the EHS Manager, you will guide complex hazard assessments, support program administration, and drive corrective actions to protect associates and the product. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for site-wide communication.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish for effective communication.
• Willingness to adjust working hours to support operations.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA, EPA, CALARP, CUPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary EHS resource for assigned operations and second‑shift activities.
• Lead incident, injury, and near‑miss investigations with thorough evidence collection and interviews.
• Conduct root cause analyses using 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys, and TapRooT methods.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions from incidents, inspections, and audits.
• Coordinate workers' compensation case management and return‑to‑work efforts.
• Perform hazard assessments, JHAs, risk assessments, and routine EHS inspections.
• Lead and administer EHS programs (LOTO, NFPA 70E, Hazard Communication, PPE, chemical safety, etc.).
• Lead safety inspections, audits, and communicate findings with corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and participate in the Safety Committee.
