Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking an EHS Specialist in Irwindale, CA to advance an Incident and Injury Free culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Under the EHS manager, you will perform hazard assessments, lead investigations, and administer programs across LOTO, NFPA70E, Hazard Communication, PPE, and more. This role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication, and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA, EPA, CALARP, CUPA regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary EHS resource for operations and second shift, engaging associates on safety.
• Lead incident, injury, and near-miss investigations from start to closure.
• Support root cause analyses using 8D, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 5 Whys, TapRooT.
• Drive corrective actions from incidents, audits, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate workers' compensation case management and return-to-work activities.
• Conduct hazard assessments, JHAs, risk assessments, and routine EHS inspections.
• Lead EHS programs (LOTO, NFPA 70E, Hazard Communication, PPE, chemical safety).
• Deliver EHS training and participate in the Safety Committee.
