Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to join our Plano, TX data center on-site. You will rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network hardware, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues in GPU and networking systems.

Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and HW support teams to deploy systems, manage inventory, and document layouts in DCIM. Travel to new data center locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting data center infrastructure including power, cooling, monitoring, capacity planning, and cabling.
• Familiarity with DCIM software, topology, and cable management practices.
• Ability to collaborate with product management, support, and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel for bring-up of new data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cabling, and configure new server, storage, and network hardware in data centers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on GPU and networking systems.
• Document data center layouts and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing for large-scale deployments.
• Manage parts depot inventory and track equipment through end-to-end processes.
• Work with HW Support to resolve incidents and disseminate learnings.
• Coordinate RMA processes for replacements and returns.
• Follow installation standards to ensure consistency across data centers.
