Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer to maintain and deploy critical data center infrastructure in Plano, TX. You will rack, label, cable, configure servers, storage and network gear, and troubleshoot issues on high-end GPU systems.

You will document topology in DCIM, coordinate deployment with supply chain, and manage parts and RMA flows. Strong Linux, networking, and power knowledge are required, with a readiness to travel for new site bring-ups.

Qualifications

• Experience with critical infrastructure systems in data centers (power, cooling, environmental monitoring, cabling).
• Familiar with carrier DIA testing, fiber testing and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of cable optics and power theory (single/three phase).
• Solid server hardware and boot process understanding; experience with DCIM.
• Ability to structure and improve complex maintenance MOPs; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cabling and configure new server, storage and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on GPU and networking systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing for large-scale deployments.
• Manage parts depot inventory and track equipment through delivery to handoff.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve incidents and disseminate solutions.
• Coordinate RMA processes for faulty parts and replacements.
• Follow installation standards to ensure consistency across data centers.
