Job summary

Lambda Labs in Plano, TX is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead a team of technicians and ensure uptime, security, and reliability of our AI cloud infrastructure.

You will rack and configure new servers, coordinate with supply chain for large deployments, document layouts in DCIM, and mentor teammates as growth expands. Collaboration with Hardware/Software Engineering will drive data center solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in critical infrastructure for data centers.
• Basic Linux administration experience.
• Experience setting up networking appliances across multiple data center locations.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data center technicians.
• Maintain high availability, reliability, and security.
• Rack, label, cabling, and configure new servers/storage.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software in advanced systems.
• Document data center layout in DCIM.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing for deployments.
• Ensure deployments meet project plans and growth needs.
• Manage parts depot inventory and handoff processes.
• Develop installation standards for consistency across data centers.
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations and uptime.
