Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, seeks a hands-on Data Center Technician to support our Plano, TX data center. In this role you will rack, label, cabling, and configure servers, storage, and network gear as part of large-scale deployments.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document DCIM layouts, and coordinate with supply chain and HW teams to ensure timely delivery and installation across multiple data centers. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Familiar with data center infrastructure including power distribution and cooling.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow instructions.
• Action-oriented with willingness to learn.
• Willing to travel for bringing up new data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cabling, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on advanced systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM.
• Coordinate with supply chain & manufacturing for deployments.
• Manage a parts depot inventory and tracking through deployment stages.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve infrastructure tickets.
• Coordinate with RMA to process returns and replacements.
• Follow installation standards for labeling and cabling across data centers.
