Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas seeks a Senior Payroll & Benefits Analyst to oversee payroll, benefits, leave administration, and workers' compensation for our U.S. operations, supporting 300–400 employees.

The ideal candidate brings strong Workday Payroll experience and deep knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, with the ability to drive process improvements and collaborate across HR, Finance, and external providers.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive experience in payroll, benefits administration, leave administration, or HR operations.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, employee benefits administration, FMLA, and workers' compensation requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll is required, including payroll review and issue resolution.
• Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or English/Mandarin preferred.
• Proven ability to independently assess complex payroll and benefits issues and advise stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with payroll vendors, carriers, brokers, and third‑party providers.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate U.S. payroll processing with external providers to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues related to compensation, timekeeping, deductions, taxes, garnishments, leave, and supplemental payments.
• Oversee payroll reconciliations, tax notices, year-end processing, W‑2 reviews and corrections, reporting and audits.
• Maintain payroll procedures, internal controls, and vendor relationships to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, COBRA) and manage open enrollment activities.
• Manage employee leave and workers' compensation cases, including return-to-work coordination.
• Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and third‑party administrators to ensure service delivery.
