Fleet Services is a leading fleet maintenance provider, offering mobile on-site services for trucks and trailers nationwide, supported by over 50 service centers and a 24/7 call center. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II responsible for DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and other duties. The role involves performing scheduled maintenance, minor repairs on various truck systems, managing parts inventory, operating company vehicles, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on trucks in a mobile environment.
• Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on electrical, brake, cooling systems, engines, transmissions, and other truck components.
• Manage parts inventory and operate company-provided service vehicles safely.
• Document work using company standards and upload photos via company devices and applications.
• Complete DOT and other required forms accurately and timely.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity within standard repair times.
• Coordinate with management for approvals and parts procurement.
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years of related experience.
• Possess and supply necessary hand tools.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Pass DOT pre-employment background screening and physical; current DOT medical card preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license and a clean 3-year MVR review.

Certifications:

• Required: ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Preferred: ASE T4 (Brakes).
