Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver a superior service experience for members and guests. You will answer phones, greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities while promoting our fitness programs.

The role offers a part-time schedule with weekend shifts and incremental hourly increases after milestones, starting at $12 per hour.

• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Details: Job Location: L181 Westfield IN - Westfield, IN 46074, Part- Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Schedule Option A : Saturday - Sunday (1 pm - 7pm), Thursday (5 pm - 11 pm), Friday (5 pm - 9 pm)

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.


• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members


• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience


• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred


• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
